My Story
Somewhere in my 40s, I hit a point where I felt horrible almost all the time. I was not sleeping. My energy was gone. And exercise, something I used to enjoy, had become a struggle. I did not want to spend the coming decades feeling that depleted, and I refused to believe this was simply what midlife had to feel like.
So I stopped chasing extremes and started rebuilding one sustainable habit at a time, using the very tools I now teach. Strength training I actually enjoy, and yes, you will usually find me at Burn Boot Camp in the mornings. A high-protein way of eating that fuels me instead of restricting me. And the mindset work that comes straight from my counseling background, because lasting change after 40 is never only physical. The sleep came back. My energy came back. And exercise became something I get to do, not something I have to force.
Thrive+40 is the resource I wish I had back then: honest, doable, and grounded in real science instead of another crash diet. Everything I share with you here, I have lived.
