Meet Brenda

Hi, I'm Brenda.
I built Thrive+40 for women like us.

I'm not a guru. I'm a woman who walked this road myself, and I built Thrive+40 to hand you what took me a decade to figure out.

My Story

My 40s were a long road. I came out of them stronger, and you can too.

I'm 51 now, and I'll tell you the truth about my 40s. They were a long road. Perimenopause and then menopause changed my body in ways nobody prepared me for. I gained 60 pounds. The things that used to work stopped working, and for a while I felt like a stranger in my own skin.

I spent years trying to figure it out on my own. There was no shortcut and no magic fix. But once I found the right techniques, the road got steady. Two things rose above everything else: eating right, with protein leading the way, and strength training. Progress came slowly, then surely, and I kept with it. That consistency gave me my body back, gave me my energy back, and honestly, it made me happier.

Those years of piecing it together alone are exactly why I help women now. Nobody should have to figure this out by herself. So I took the time to do it right. I educated myself, received the training, became a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA, certified as a Menopause Coaching Specialist, and earned a certificate in nutrition. I lived every bit of it myself first, and then I made sure I understood the why behind what worked. I hold a Master of Education, and teaching is what I do best. These days I teach women what took me years to learn, so it does not take them years too.

Thrive+40 is everything I wish someone had handed me at the start of that road. Clear, practical guides you can put to work today. No memberships. No fluff. Just what works.

What I Believe

The Thrive+40 method

1

Protein first

Muscle is your metabolism, your strength, and your future independence. Feeding it comes before everything else.

2

Strength is medicine

Lifting is the closest thing we have to turning back the clock on bones, hormones, and energy.

3

Simple wins

The best plan is the one a busy woman can actually follow. Every guide I write respects your time.
